From Bare Earth To A Finished Outdoor Room
We took this tired rear garden back to basics — removing the old decking and broken paving, grading the ground and laying a proper sub-base — before installing a large-format porcelain patio with a crisp charcoal block-paving border.
A kidney-shaped turf island was set into the paving, framed by the same charcoal setts, alongside a raised railway-sleeper planter ready for planting. New pressure-treated close-board fencing with concreted posts replaced the weathered boundary, and a decorative gravel strip finished the perimeter for a clean, low-maintenance result.
